He can be forgiven for his ridiculous remarks concerning the “terrorists”’sitting in the DC jail, all anyone wants.
The fact remains that only 4 or 5 Republican members of Congress have gone to see these political prisoners and tried to help them.
I’m waiting for the esteemed Senator from Texas to go to the jail and meet with them. Then hold a press conference outside the jail. Then offer his legal expertise, debating skills and courtroom acumen to, at least, allow them to get a bond.
Right now there are folks out on bond for violent felony crimes.
I won’t hold my breath. Cruz is a master Kabuki Theater actor.
