I lived in the foothills of the Rockies during college. At the old rental house we would get whitecaps in the toilet when the wind blew hard. I’m guessing it had something to do with the sewer vent pipe sticking up out of the roof.

I’m guessing it had something to do with the sewer vent pipe sticking up out of the roof.I live the Albuquerque metro. It gets seriously windy here. We don't quite get whitecaps in the toilet, but on windy days you can watch the water level go up and down with the gusts.
