I still can’t believe the English are seriously considering replacing their Prime Minister due to a few Wine Friday indulgences. Boris should be held accountable, but I guess there aren’t many ways to really do that other than to remove him from his national leadership position.
In some ways, England still thinks like a village, compared to America. And, true, geographically, their country is far smaller than our continent.

How about he be locked up 24/7 and only allowed to go to the grocer or to the House of Commons for say 5 years as penance and have police ticket him or arrest him when he doesn’t?

The British government seems to want the war with Russia more than ours.

Perhaps Boris has a way out of this through Ukraine.

It’s not about the parties in themselves. The outrage is with the timing, and what that says about the government’s, and particularly Johnson’s, attitude to the people. The events were at the height of the first Covid lockdown, when the newly bereaved had been prevented from attending the last moments, or even the funerals, of close relatives.
