What is going to be interesting is to see the reaction of social media when the first real shooting war-invasion of one superpower in a proxy war with another superpower starts. The pictures and video are going to be ghastly.
People are going to react. And that reaction will be visceral. And it will happen in real time.
However, there appears to be a major self-destruction theme in all Western societies which goes far beyond the subversive efforts of any national group.
The Chinese and the Russians make great external foes on which we can blame all our problems, but the rot is within our own culture. This isn't new and isn't unique to us. Every culture contains the seeds of its own self-destruction.
I am unsure how this tendency can be controlled. People a lot smarter and wiser than I have been working on this for millennia. We are yet another experiment in the process.
Biden is merely the puppet for a Cabal that is calling the shots. If he can't keep up appearances, they will replace him in a heartbeat with someone more presentable. It's an awkward, but solvable problem.
The military will take orders from a civilian government. It is what they are organized and trained to do, and they really cannot do otherwise. Even if those orders result in the destruction of the military, they will obey them.
The current government does not actually need or want a capable military force, which could be a dangerous rival under some conditions. What they need is a force that can operate a system of concentration camps into which they can place their opposition. That does not have to be a military force.
What the current government must have is a national police force that can enforce their orders. They are not there yet and may never get there before things break down. It is a race against time and deterioration.

No, in the 10-14th centuries Hungarians called Eastern Slavs like this. It is originally a bastardized word for the Russians based on the misspelling. The term existed until 16th century and was used for Russia and Russians in Latin texts and then disappeared. It was also used by Germans for Baltic Christians until about that time.
It was resurfaced in the 19th century by Austro-Hungary to rally the West Ukrainians against the Russians as if they are different.
