This is (yet another) bizarre thing I only recently learned about. Some people who call themselves “furries” are merely people who like dressing up as animals - merely an affection for being in costume. Weird, but harmless.
Then there are those for whom they literally believe they are animals and even in some cases it is a bizarre and disturbing sexual orientation.
WTAF? We stumbled into a gaggle of them here in town for a week long convention a few years back. WHAT? Butt, I guess like some weird ‘cosplay’ thing it works for somebody.
That was called Halloween.

In today’s bonkers, bizzarro world, that is perfectly plausible. It’s not shocking people would believe it.
But what REALLY upsets me is that the Superintendent didn’t immediately put litter boxes in all the bathroom stalls to accommodate the special needs of these marginalized cat-students. That is not an inclusive school policy. He needs to be fired immediately for such awful lack of respect and inclusion.

Exactly right. The fact that this story is even plausible is what is so worrying.
A mere decade ago it would not have gotten any traction at all because it is so utterly ridiculous and loony. But in 2022 it is completely plausible.
This “trans” BS is another perfect example of “mass formation psychosis.”
Sand boxes for those who identify as cats..
Those who think they are dogs can just poop anywhere.
Those who identify as hogs can just turn around and eat their pop!
Those who identify as birds can rush over and eat the poop of others.
I remember the series CSI years ago that incorporated furries into one of their episodes.
They should identify as the patient of a shrink.
If someone dresses as a cat for a halloween party it’s a costume.
If they do it other times because they dig it, It’s a fetish.
I wonder...if Furries are interested in litter boxes, perhaps they are also receptive to neutering and Heart Worm medications. Oh, wait. Most of them are probably already neutered.
Well why not? Anything else goes.
WE DEMAND LITTER BOXES FOR STUDENTS WHO SELF IDENTIFY AS CATS. OR THE FAC (furrier, animal, cat) victim group will have a snit and stomp their little feet... Where's the teacher's union - we need them to support litter boxes...
It’s true. Some students got together and started a petition against the furries dress code exemption. It was ignored. The kids were also asked what they preferred as their gender identity……..he, she, zee etc. I asked my granddaughters how they answered, they said, “I’m a she”.
I would die laughing if they did install litter boxes.
