Diversity goals are based on two false premises: 1. That differnt self defined groups, have different uniform views of the world than than the average population , and 2. These diverse views need to be represented in business decisions for better results. Both are false.
Executives bonuses are now often based on reaching diversity goals. Ny son who works as the corporate IT head of a large food company cannot count as minorites east asians and other orientals. He can only count blacks and hispanics, Those IT people do noytexist.
The whole point of targeted “diversity” goals is pretend assimilation of certain groups has succeeded not by having them perform equal work but by reaching equal outcomes; I don’t know white guys losing their jobs over diversity, they are just given fake token figureheads as supervisors (but they still do the real work).
The problem for these employers now is having the ignorant token report to higher-ups while the white guys go home at 5:00...
