Vaccines are a tool, not a silver bullet. If we’d allowed more scientific debate, we would have realized this earlier

At the risk of p_ssing off some readers, do take the time to read the WHOLE article before responding. It is an amazing exposé of the failings of the medical, political, regulatory and media establishments - worldwide.

How much if that was because those diseases were endemic rather than an active epidemic? Many adults had already suffered those diseases and were immune so there was not an active epidemic. How effective are they now if a vaccinated person with no natural immunity would be fully exposed to the disease? 100%? Or maybe only 90% but enough for herd immunity so the disease can't get a foothold even if a few are exposed from some source? Do other vaccinations prevent the disease or do they get the immune system to work faster, so if exposed to polio you get a "little bit" of polio - maybe a unremarkable fever for a day or two with no nerve damage?

Smallpox was a special case because there aren't any animal vectors - wipe it out in people and it is gone. Few diseases are that specialized

From the article,

“The second finding was more dramatic:, “We also observed negative VE against Omicron among those who had received 2 doses compared to unvaccinated individuals.” Translation: Negative VE means that the vaccinated got more infections than the unvaccinated.

That “negative finding” they noted, had already been observed elsewhere.”

Yes, this will never make it into the MSM, but it does signal that they are fighting a losing battle and that they know it. They are already starting to pivot, eg. Bill Maher, who said the other day that he would not be taking the boosters. Their goal will be to distance themselves and shift the blame for the problems to President Trump.

I’m surprised the smallpox virus wasn’t placed on the endangered species list. /s
You bring up interesting points about other diseases most everyone gets vaccinated against. But virtually everyone gets either measles vaccine or had measles back in the day and measles is rare nowadays, except for our uninvited ‘guests’ crossing the Mexican border.

I believe I’ve read that polio does seem to hit Amish communities pretty hard.

Wow this article is from Canuckistan! It’s the 2nd worst in the western world in terms of restrictions.

Will people finally wake up?

Is this playing according to the script in the Spars Pandemic simulation from Johns Hopkins?

1) People lose faith in their national governments.

2) We need a global government to oversee us so this will never happen again.

We are and must be HST. We always have had to be. You just need to come to terms with the unpleasant consequences. We all need to rip those mailboxes from the sidewalks. (Metaphorical mailbox)

No problem, they’re experimental.

You want to experiment with a drug, have at it. It’s been done for as long as there have been drugs, mostly just for pleasure.

I’ll watch.

(From the article) Bill Gates: “We didn’t get much in the way of therapeutics … way less than should have been the case.”

It's because the left politicized this from the very start. Once Trump made his favorable comments about HCQ, the MSM and medical establishment moved in lockstep to dismiss any talk of prophylactics or early treatments. Social media platforms actually banned people for engaging in any talk of using OTC products as preventatives, and ridicule of any talk of alternatives to vaccines became the norm.

This mentality extended to therapeutics as well as preventatives, and the US medical establishment seemed unwilling to experiment with different treatments, relying on questionable retreads like Remdesivir.

... you will never read anything close to this from the US media.

What an excellent piece...... I think that this is the most refreshing (and perhaps important) opinion pieces on WuFlu that has been published in any LSM publication that I’ve seen since January 2020. The very fact that the Mop and Pail went to press with this is truly astonishing and it almost seems like this might in fact mean that a turning point has been reached.... specifically that they’ve recognized that continuing to support the fraudulent narrative will now do so much damage to themselves, they need to take a different direction or they may never recover. This may not be the case but over the past week or two, I’ve seen several mea culpas published in European publications…. Mostly along the lines of “we just can’t support the fraudulent narrative any longer.” Someone needs to stuff the mailbox of Premier François Legault of Quebec full of copies of this... you know, the guy who wants to set up a small police state in the middle of North America....

Yeah, in the past week we’ve seen some cracks forming in the establishment narrative about the vaccines and Covid in general. The MSM is finally allowing some of the sacred cows to be questioned.

According to Dr. Zelenko, the “silver bullet” is zinc supplements, but the “bullet” has to be fired from an Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine gun.
