Blue State Blues: Time to Impeach Joe Biden over Ukraine
Breitbart ^ | 21 Jan 2022 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Barely two years have gone by since Democrats tried to remove the democratically-elected president of the United States from office by claiming that he might have withheld future security aid to a beleaguered ally, Ukraine, in exchange for an investigation into a political rival.

Today, that rival, President Joe Biden, is practically inviting Russia to invade Ukraine, even declaring that Russian President Vladimir Putin “has to do something,” and hoping it is just a a “minor incursion.”

[cut]

Ultimately, Democrats could not come up with compelling evidence that Trump had committed “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,” despite the best efforts of House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who held witness depositions in secret and subpoenaed the private telephone records of the president’s lawyer, and members of the opposition. They argued that Trump could be impeached for maladministration, a low standard the Framers rejected.

By that standard, President Biden deserves to be impeached — over his ongoing failure to support Ukraine, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the crisis at the southern border, all of which are the result from dereliction of duty as commander-in-chief.

And while I agree wholeheartedly with Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) that we need to find common ground in American politics, her party first needs to understand that there will be consequences for overstepping the line.

Sometimes, two wrongs do make a right, if they deter further wrongs.

He was impeachable for Ukraine shenanigans before he ever took office

Trump got impeached for something that Biden actually DID

It’s senseless to talk about impeachment at least until after November elections, if then.

No it’s not. You have to start making the case now, build support, and create pressure. Democrats didn’t wait. They started talking impeachment on day 1! The only way they are going to learn is to do back at them what they did to us.

There are other articles that could go in front of that, such as:

1. Facilitating an invasion of the United States through willful neglect of border security
2. Violation of separation of powers by utilizing agencies via executive orders to force a medical procedure on American citizens
3. Use of the law enforcement apparatus to detain and harass those, though no evidence of criminal activity, whose political persuasion is not that of the current executive branch
4. Willful abandonment of American citizens and assets in the withdrawal from Afghanistan

might have withheld future security aid to a beleaguered ally, Ukraine

Please enlighten me as to how, specifically, the Ukraine is an "ally" of the United States.

Idiotic Ukraine has a way outsized footprint on US policy and domestic politics.

For impeachment to work, we would have to elect an entirely new Senate.

If Trump had said the exact same words that Biden did about Putin/Ukraine, the impeachment paperwork would have been written within a half an hour..Vindman would have fainted

I’d say that it’s about half past that time, but won’t be practical to do until next year.

The Dem Lites had better do a two pronged attack; one, investigation, and two, legislation. Make Biden veto or Dems in the senate, if they still have a majority, vote it down. Don’t make this entirely an “old man bad” show.

Not the best idea. It would fail in the present Congress and the media would scream “vindication!” And if it succeeded we’d have President Harris. And if we impeached and removed her it would be President Pelosi.

I don’t know. Maybe it is just me, but the concept of impeaching Joe Biden seems to highlight the reason they made Kamala Harris the VP.
