While I'm tired of illegal aliens sneaking into our country I also can't imagine what it was like when the mother and father realized they couldn't save their child and they began to panic. On a human level it must have been terror.

I'm wondering if the human trafficker left them off near the border so he wouldn't be caught with them and pointed them in the general direction and they got disoriented and lost in the dark, snowy landscape.
