Interesting. Recall Liz Cheney was “sponsored” by 145 House Republicans to be a leader after she voted to remove President Trump based on a Democrat hoax. 145-11 says it all really.

Liz Cheney is known in Republican circles as an excellent 'big money' fund raiser.
That means that she is well connected to 'big money',
or businesses that have contracts, or who want contracts , with the government.
This would explain why the Republican party isn't so much representative of the voters
but represents significant financial businesses which benefit from maintaining the "status quo" of "The Swamp".
This would also explain the political positions that she has taken.
