I am not sure what this answer has to do with anything I wrote. The Russian-Chinese alliance is not new, and everything else I said is easily verifiable. Russia and China are long time allies. They have been conducting military exercises together for many many years. The weapons transfers have been going on for many many years. And your remark about the Sino-Soviet split is also silly. I said it was the testimony of KGB defectors. Why would their opinion about it be "ridiculous"? They would be the ones to know.

I'm not even sure you have any clue what you mean. Russia's support of every single communist country across the world is simply a fact. And here they are doing drills with the Iranians too, their other long time allies who they've been supporting for decades. In fact, the Iranian and Russian alliance goes back to Soviet times, with the KGB aiding and abetting their revolution covertly. Exactly what is the PGR88 sophisticated, anti-reductionist, extremely complex view of interpreting this? I doubt you have one.
