I've stopped looking at GM cars too, but for a completely different reason.

Last year, the company indicated that they would become a completely electric vehicles company by about 2030, meaning that, they are going full-blast for a climate-change insanity agenda, like the progressives/democrats want. Buying a GM car now means that, in a few years, there would be no GM certified ICE car repairmen/repair shops, which would render any GM cares currently existing or bought in the next few years, orphaned by the maker.

Can't you disconnect the antenna cable from the Onstar module?
