During negotiations over the Build Back Better Act, Sanders repeatedly voiced frustration with Manchin’s opposition to expanding Medicare benefits and Sinema’s reluctance to give Medicare wide-ranging power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices. Sinema eventually signed off on a scaled-down proposal to make prescription medications more affordable.

Bernie is cut from the same cloth as Biden:
Neither has EVER held a private sector job.
They both have sucked at the taxpayer teat for their entire lives.
Biden listened to Bernie and his administration crashed and burned. nuff said.
More political theater, Manchin is in a very safe position, the dems would lose the seat if he is unseated.
As if the dnc does wants to lose any seats! Manchin and Sinema are giving the rest of the dems cover, whereby they can come out in support of the BBB while appeasing the progressives.
