I agree with you that this about power for Fauci, but disagree that he wants to obtain more. Rather he has acquired more power and authority for any elected or unelected official in our nation’s history. He just refuses to relinquish it now, and will say or do whatever he must to hold onto it.
No dictator or potentate ever gives up there power / authority voluntarily, and Fauci is not an exception.
