VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican secretary of state and his deputy have both tested positive for the coronavirus, Vatican officials said Tuesday.
Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who serves as the Vatican's secretary of state and the pope's No. 2, has “very light” symptoms, while Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra is asymptomatic, officials said.
There was no immediate comment on their last contact with Pope Francis. It wasn't clear if Francis has received a booster shot, which has been administered to his predecessor, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

I suspect by now almost everyone in the world has been exposed to Covid and will most likely test positive.
I am also convinced that the push to get more people tested is to simply keep the Covid numbers high so the various governments can solidified the controls they have placed on their citizens.
1. At their (expected) ages, even the milder, newer versions of the flu (er, Covid) can be difficult to manage. Illness is difficult at any age.
2. But Francis is now fanatically fighting on the side of Biden’s international socialism, so maybe I really don’t care. If he were fighting for the Church, not for his Communism and the homosexual communities, not for the international illegal alien exploitation industry, not for the “pretty” native pagan dancers and worshippers, I would feel perhaps more sympathy for his staff.
Oh… they have “cases”. Better administer last rites! /sarc
