The public is fat dumb and happy, and has no clue what the elimination of gas-powered vehicles means. It will be a very rude surprise: long wait times for charges, high prices for charges, high taxes to build the infrastructure needed for the chargers, high electricity prices all around, batteries that lose their charge progressively every day, ridiculously high cost for replacing battery packs, blackouts because they won’t build more power plants, and finally freezing to death on the highway in cars that ran out of power.

Just how will AAA service vehicles with drained batteries? Will AAA come around and give you a shot of electricity - enough to get you home? Even if that were possible it would take 20 minutes to give you that charge.

We’re heading for disaster, folks!

It’s not through incompetence. It’s all planned. Oh, and do you think the ruling elite is going to be in electric cars? No, they won’t be.

“blackouts because they won’t build more power plants, and finally freezing to death on the highway in cars that ran out of power.”

Please do some basic research on the ‘net.

177 new power plants are being built and most of the old coal plants are being extended to at least 2050.

A tesla heater last 72 hours on a full charge if left stranded.
I could counter every one of your comments.

I’m done trying to explain this stuff.

My last post.

Glad he’s gone. Gasoline car cabin heaters put out about 4 kW. So 20 hours of heat, at best, if you’re not moving and it’s cold out. 72 hours perhaps if it’s not too cold outside...but then again, you probably won’t freeze either.

Also note that it is much, much, easier to keep a gas tank topped off in bad weather than to even top off a Tesla in the same conditions (since the charge rate goes way down towards the end)...not to mention having to find something to do during all that waiting time.
