Reporter is a moron. Until the brother is proved to be a fool, I (and I hope law enforcement) is dealing with high level, sophisticated terrorists. Freeing a prominent terrorist from prison in the US, with a husband at GITMO, can't assume this is just a aberrant brother. The family in Pakistan is both prominent, and close to the upper levels of al Qaida.

They’ll check for vax cards and MAGA hats, and finding that the perpetrator and hostages are vaxxed and not “white nationalists” will declare everything in order and leave.
