The United States are in no need of so called “skilled workers”.
Having been in Engineering for 4 decades, I can tell you that there are more then enough native born to do those jobs...just not at the rates that the average globalist sweat shop wants to pay.
And towns like Sunnyvale, California are now minority American after having MASSIVE immigration for the last 30 years since the H1B program was passed to “relieve the shortage of computer workers”...when there never was one.

I've a friend who worked in IT for a Fortune 500 company, back in the late 1980s/1990s. When he started, it wall all Americans. By the late 1990s, it was mostly Russian Jews who'd immigrated from the Soviet Union after the fall of Communism. Also some Pakistanis. Very few people actually born in the U.S.
I agree with Regulator on the bit about Asian engineers lowering the pay of Americans doing engineering style work. Or another way to put, if Asians are so much blankety blank smarter than Americans then how come China has to steal $250 billion to $500 billion of our intellectual property every year even though they literally have 4 to 5 times as many brains as we do?
