Let’s not be too tough. EVERY politician (other than the super-wealthy, like Trump) has to decide whether to support the people who vote for her(him) or the people who do the financing. She made her choice (obviously).
It’s sad, though. If people here, for example, would send money to deserving candidates (instead of trying to die with the biggest estate on the block), perhaps we’d have more control over the people who represent us.
