Do I see something we’re not supposed to here? The International African American Museum opens in Charleston SC sometime this year. Go to their website;
Scroll down one page to the globe/slavery routes map. Most of us are familiar with the map in another form. Just amazes me that they would display it. Doesn’t help their narrative much so I expect it to be gone soon.
BTW this had been in work for years. I wonder if the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture that opened in 2016 left the Charleston museum any exhibits worth showing.
Forgot to add that with people out there like Winston Glynn I plan on giving those museums a wide berth.
