Poland's foreign minister said on Thursday that Europe was at risk of plunging into war as Russia said it was not yet giving up on diplomacy but that military experts were preparing options in case tensions over Ukraine could not be defused.

In Washington, the White House said the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine remained high with some 100,000 Russian troops deployed and the United States would make public within 24 hours intelligence suggesting Russia might seek to invent a pretext to justify one.

"The drumbeat of war is sounding loud, and the rhetoric has gotten rather shrill," Michael Carpenter, U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), said after talks with Russia in Vienna.

As I said on another thread:

World War IV will make a great distraction from Joe and Pete’s supply chain disaster. /Shiny side out

Hope I’m wrong.

Braindead won’t do anything. They’ll say that they’re outraged. That’s all.

Putin has to move soon or stand down. An army cannot remain poised on high alert for an indefinite period of time. Eventually its combat effectiveness erodes and it becomes vulnerable itself. If the Ukrainians were smart they would have used the time to obtain and drill with a drone system similar to the one the Azerbaijanis used to decimate the Armenian armor and army. They are delusional if they think NAYO will risk war with Russia to save Ukraine.

Putin is determined as his historic legacy to reunite Ukraine with the Russian motherland. Biden’s abject weakness gives him an historic opportunity.

The Eurotrashes have trouble resisting the urge to kill each other about every 50 years. They are way overdue. The notion that they are all dead broke won’t stop them. I just hope we can stay out of it this time. The big bankers will loan them the money. Maybe this time they can use their own ships to bring in the weapons?

Russia will move against Ukraine; China will move against Taiwan; and North Korea will move against South Korea. All likely coordinated as to timing. Hell, even Iran may make a move somewhere.

None of this would occur if Biden was not in the White House. Biden is the most feckless, most imbecilic, and most weak president one can imagine. Thanks, Dems; the resulting bloodshed will be on your hands.

Interesting times ahead.

I know. I buy a little here and there because I’m expecting shortages of several things.

Even if America won’t intervene militarily doesn’t mean no one will. We were slow to get into the first two world wars too.

Poland is the wildcard here. If Russia moves into Eastern Ukraine, Poland most likely will not sit idly by, they may move into Western Ukraine, which could put NATO in a bind.

Russia doesn't rule out Latin American deployment after ‘unsuccessful’ NATO talks

Russia on Thursday stated security talks with the United States and NATO in response to the build-up of Russian troops near Ukraine were “unsuccessful.” The bleak assessment came as Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov spoke of the possibility of military deployment to Latin America “if the US and its allies don't curtail their military activities on Russia's doorstep,” according to AP.

If Kiev doesn’t invade Donbass or Crimea, or NATO doesn’t put missiles into Ukraine, I doubt much will happen.
If they do, Russia will roll into Donbass and probably put INF nukes in Cuba, Kaliningrad, etc to freak out DC and the EU.
And it might get pretty cold in Europe when the gas cuts off.

Idiotic that all of this is to cover up the Biden putsch’s destruction, tyranny and failures at home.
