I don't understand why Biden contrasted George Wallace with Abraham Lincoln. It didn't do Biden any good. Or Lincoln either.
Wallace supported “separate but equal” segregation.
Lincoln was an outright white supremacist by his own admission.
George Wallace was a hundred years ahead of Lincoln in terms of race relations. Wallace never, to my knowledge, advocated sending black people back to Africa.

Remember all the times that the LAAP-dog media would hound President Trump to denounce white supremacists despite him having done so over and over, no matter what his press secretary said?
The conservative press should demand to hear Biden himself explain what he meant, and apologize to Senators if necessary. No more hiding behind Psaki to clean up his messes.
