Funny, before the ratification of the 17th Amendment to the US Constitution, the Senate actually represented their own state’s interests and against the Federal Government; now all the senators represent is the interests of Washington D.C. and lining their pockets.
He’s had a bad day or so with his build back better, voting rights agenda collapsed his precious social mandate being struck down, at least for the time being, and cratering poll numbers in the low 30s and continuing to drop, I suspect we will see him taking long weekend back to his basement in Delaware.
