People are freaking out about inflation for a couple of reasons.
1) They’re feeling the cumulative effect of decades of inflation in real estate, education, health care, etc.
Some of the lower wage jobs can’t keep up with the inflation rate so those people have been feeling pain for some time.
2) All people hear & read about is inflation. So they parakeet those talking points.
