I think everyone needs to leave this alone. Let it become a cold case.

Then when you have the right people in place, then you go after him.

But not until you have the right people to prosecute and sentence him.

This is a civil case now. Byrd's lawyers are trying their best to let it go cold.

Who would be the "right" people? He's already been cleared via a DOJ investigation. The guy will never be held accountable, because he's black. And just think of the unending media coverage that would occur if any Republican President sicced his DOJ on him. And most Congressional Republicans are gutless wonders who wouldn't have the balls to pursue it in the House or Senate. The case is dead like Ashli Babbit, and no one is going to seek justice for her and her family, ever.
