The two reasons that brothers JFK and RFK authorized spying on MLK were King’s two close advisors Hunter Pitts Odell and Stanley Levison.
Both men were secret members of the CPUSA during the worst of the Cold War. Loyalty to Stalin was okay with them.
King was shown the evidence against those two and warned that he needed to get rid of them. King didn’t care. He knew what they were. So the spying continued. O’Dell and Levison were considered a real threat who would try manipulate King to do the Soviet Unions bidding. The FBI went after the Bundy’s twice in Nevada and Oregon.
They went after President Trump’s supporters with the January 6th entrapment.
We need a complete and permanent shut down of the FBI not political jawboning about it that goes nowhere.
