I know its cliche but your missing the forrest for the trees, you’re making good progress the enemy of perfection.

Come on man, in every kind of conflict your side wins some battles and loses some battles. One must focus on the big picture and you seem not to be doing that, I think you’re seeing this to emotionally and not analytically enough. I have the same problem at times. Having said that, one must also at time compartmentalize ones emotionalism and just look at facts and history to make a sound judgement as to where we are in this present conflict with communism. And that’s what I attempted to do in my last post. You say you don’t share my optimism; but my analysis was not based upon the emotional response of optimism, my analysis and interpretation of the facts is based upon a cold hearted, unemotional analysis of them and of the history of similiar conflicts. I’m certain it is not perfect, but I think the basic tenents are absolutely true based upon the facts at this time in history.

I would add that my responses are not based on emotion either, it’s based on pass actions and evidence.

The R’s had the take over of Congress in 1994 led by Newt Gingric and failed to produce much, they had all the power under Bush 43 and failed, they had all power under Trump and screwed him.

They had the Tea Party who collectively gave the R’s, the Congress, Senate and Presidency and took over of multiple states and still nothing on the major issues. Heck the National GOP can’t even agree on what the major issues are, Trump has laid out a clear roadmap of how to gain the majority by growing the base and win power for a long time and people like Mike Rounds appear to be eager to throw it all away....

I will say, the R’s taking multiple states has been impressive, Texas and Florida are prime examples, the GOP on the National Level is still far too cozy with Democrats, China, and Big Business...
