STOCKHOLM — Swedish Crown Princess Victoria has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms, the Royal Court said on Saturday, adding that the heir to the throne was fully vaccinated.
Earlier this week her parents, the king and queen of Sweden, both also tested positive amid a mounting fourth wave of the virus, driven by the highly contagious Omicron variant, that has seen the country repeatedly report record daily case numbers.
The Royal Court said in a statement that the crown princess, who is 44 and has contracted the virus once before , was isolating at home with her family.
“The crown princess, who is fully vaccinated, is experiencing cold symptoms but is otherwise feeling well,” the court said. “Contact tracing has begun.”
While COVID infections have soared, hospitalisations have also risen sharply and put pressure on the healthcare system, but remain well below the peaks encountered in previous waves. Death have so far remained comparatively low.

Things can get "awkward" in the aftermath of such rescues...
My question is how do you know if it’s covid? If your symptoms are mild, then what’s the point? If you are elderly, it is up to you if you want to take the risk and go out? Everyone else, just need to take the blow and absorb it as we go through this. For some of us, it might be a bad cold. We’ve all had that.
ADE, anyone?
Thinking the same thing. Do you get tested with every sneeze? The makers of the tests are laughing every trip to the bank.
For many of us, we’ve had a sore throat. We didn’t bother to get tested I’m sure. We’re probably past the peak now so we should be on our way down in a week or two.
Waiting for the democrat/media/big pharma/Faux-xi cheerleaders on here to say the death serum is perfectly safe with 98% efficacy.
“Fully vaccinated, AND had it before. ADE, anyone?”
ADE would make the disease more severe/fatal. Her symptoms are mild.
Omicron being immune evasive make it more likely to contract, whether vaccinated, previously infected, or both.

Don’t you know that if we get the sniffles along with a positive test, it just HAS to be COVID?
Anything you say, Doctor BeauBo...
