Remdesivir is a pure antiviral. Given to patients with respiratory failure, it has a very small effect, because for most of them the virus part of the disease is over.
A recent large study of 3 days of remdesivir once a day for outpatients with risk factors for progression showed an 86% decrease in hospitalizations compared to a control group.
Sotrovimab is short right now. All of it is sold to the Feds, and they allocate it, so I really have no insight into what GSK is doing.

He said he caught COVID - was hospitalized and Thank God lives in Florida (and not his home state of New York). Because he was in Florida, he was able to access ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies.
He believes that but for him being in Florida, he would be dead.
No doubt he is right.
Let’s just say there is a shortage of the monoclonal antibody. What is Biden doing about it? In the early stages of Covid there was a shortage of ventilators. President went into immediate action and met with the producers, and got a big supply chain going until there was a surplus. All Biden has done is vacation in Delaware. The Biden administration is pure evil.
I’ve been in quarantine since the3rd of this month. Ordered a test kit on the 5th which cost me over 50 dollar. Thanks Brandon. Local drug stores are sold out within an hour, at least those who can get them. Feds are doing a horrible job getting them out.
