Blue states currently lead the U.S. in the daily average of coronavirus cases per capita, according to Saturday’s data.

According to the New York Times’ coronavirus tracker, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC, lead the U.S. in the daily average of coronavirus cases per capita. Rhode Island currently stands at 413 per 100,000, followed by New York with 362 and New Jersey with 351.

And they are fleeing to red states with thier covid. Maybe we should stop them at the border, put them on 2 week quarantine at their expense... and otherwise harrass them about he states they come from.

When will the fear porn end? Apparently never.

I was telling my son, societies where a large percentage of the population forever hide in their basements and wait to be rescued don’t do well. They don’t survive because reality rules and eventually you have to come out of your cave and live. The truth is that you have to take risks sometimes it means that you might die. Yes, you might die.

For example, you might have to fight in a war where someone is actually trying to kill you. Or you have to work extremely hard to produce your own food.... otherwise you starve.

Consider the Battle of Cannae, where the Roman Republic lost around 30,000-60,000 of its young soldiers in a single battle. The Senate approved a ridiculously small amount of time for public mourning, after which another army was rounded up and the war against Carthage pursued to its successful conclusion.

Yesterday I noticed that Florida currently has one of the lowest Covid death rates among large states, typically 50-90% lower. I wish we had more information on the treatment protocols used in different states and the different medical systems and facilities.

Considering Florida’s elderly population, that’s quite a story.

Covid deaths yesterday:

Florida - 3
Texas - 103
New York - 187
Pennsylvania - 150
Michigan - 148
California - 161

Since the beginning, Florida ranks 3rd in cases, but only 16th in deaths-per-million, despite its elderly population and being a sports and tourism hub. They seem to be doing something right; maybe they've followed a learning curve instead of repeating the same mistakes that Fauci continues to promote.

One more thing: in the last month, Florida’s seven day rolling average for Covid deaths per day has varied from 22 to 4, trending downwards. New York’s average has gone from 45 to 120, trending upwards. Both states have seen huge rises in cases, as has virtually the entire country, along with Europe and Australia, among others.
