For some reason, I am encouraged by the given names of these two brothers.
Eric and Bernard are beautiful names and to me it means they had a reasonable mother. Hopefully, that will mean something in the coming days.
Shocking that Eric brought back the Anti Crime group. Now, THAT’S encouraging.
Having said that, I still listened to him because he’s got talent and may have the best radio voice ever heard in the industry.
Believe me, Adams is the best we could have hoped for given the other candidates. We are just going to wait and see.

Given his support for de Blasio’s vaccine mandate, coupled with his naive pleas for workers to return, that is a scary statement. What would a worse candidate do?
We now know why Deep State felt the need to shove RCV down NYC’s throat.
Note to Gothamites: If you want to survive this, you need to do two things STAT: Get rid of RCV-enabled voting machines and repeal RCV.
Without both of those gone, you’ll never be able to vote your way out of this.
Other candidates wanted to defund the NYPD in significant ways. Adams does not. Adams chose a fantastic woman to be NYPD Commissioner. She is already fighting the Manhattan DA who recently sent a memo telling his ADAs to not prosecute an inordinate amount so of crimes. Adams knows what he has to do to get the tourists back to NYC. And as far as the vaccine stuff goes, I have reason to believe Adams will roll it back in the next couple of months.
He doesn’t have a couple of months to do it; professionals are refusing the shots NOW - and if their employers are heavy-handed, they have no choice but to work elsewhere.
NJ is withering on the vine but kept on life support by money and jobs fleeing NYC; Adams helps us in that regard.
There’s no enforcement. It’s a “rule” with no teeth. If an employer is enforcing the stupid rule, they most likely would have made the rule themselves anyway. Adams cannot snap his fingers and change everything immediately. It has to be done in stages due the lunatics who are in place in NYC government. All I’m saying is that he was the best choice available. He’s been in office for literally one week. Let’s give him a couple of months, shall we?

Whomever wins the Democrat primary wins the NYC mayoral election. Sliwa was never a viable option. And Sliwa is an ex-junkie heroin addict who used to like to fight cops. Just because he saw a way to make money with his little red beret squad and pretended to like the police doesn’t mean he should be mayor.
She is of the Asian "color". During 25 years at one of Boston's large (and famous) hospitals the fact that half of the physicians (and half of the medical students) you encountered there were Asian taught me just how oppressed Asians were in this city.
