Citigroup has told its workforce that employees who refuse to get vaccinated and don't have an exemption will be fired.
Employees with the New York-based investment bank will be placed on unpaid leave if they don’t comply with the companywide mandate by Jan. 14, with their employment being terminated at the end of the month. Employees are allowed to apply for religious or medical exemptions.

I wonder what they will do if there is extremely valuable employees in this bucket?

Personal self interest and outright laziness will rule out a boycott that is actually effective.
No one will do what should be done and go make the effort to move all their banking elsewhere. Even though there could even be an advantage of refinancing somewhere else.
Just too lazy to even try to stand on principle and actually make a difference in mass.
