I gotta give Cruz credit for facing the music. Look, the leftist are gunning for Texas big time. Hundreds of millions of $$$ pouring in to this state to turn it purple/then blue.
We can’t afford to lose Ted Cruz as a U.S. Senator. As stupid as his comments were, we need to accept his apology and move forward. Cruz is more conservative than most of the U.S. Senators in D.C. despite this incident.
Stakes are too high, we cannot afford to throw the conservatives under the bus. He screw up...but hey, I think back of all the times I wish I could take back some of the stupid crap I’ve said.

If I lived in The Republic of Texas and it was Cruz vs O’Rourke for a Senate seat, I’d vote for Cruz in a heartbeat.
