“Someone came knocking on my door a few moments ago. He’s driving a Tesla, and he’s worried about running out of power in the cold. Its 19°F. He’s a nice guy who was worried about his kids. I gave him some water, a spare blanket and a thermal/mylar blanket.”

A Politico commenter said the WaPo and others were “rightwing s#$@posters acting like trolls” who hate EV’s.
Apparently Left has a vested interest in loving EV’s. I did hear AOC has one.

Opinion: Imagine Virginia’s icy traffic catastrophe — but with only electric vehicles
((I won’t make a line as I don’t want to promote WaPo’s junk.))
Would never buy a Chisler anyway. Thought about a Jeep until I talked to a few owners.
Try getting stuck in an electric vehicle in a snow storm on I-95 with a 50 mile back up
On flat terrain and the wind behind it.🙄
So you have a place for the spare gas can?
It used to be an “American” car company, it is now Italian.
Well their cars are certainly "Fra-Gee-Lay"!
What happens when we run out of lithium?
5.56mm
Along with fusion power.🙄
Chrysler should include warnings of this sort: do not drive this vehicle on I-95 in Virginia during the wintertime.
Hell, that one goes right to potato!
Yep, back at our car or trailer where we parked. We always have extra gas.
As a side note, our tanks average about 10 gallons which will get us on average about 200 miles per tank. Plenty of gas for a full day of sledding without worrying about our battery dying out.........
Considering what your state has just experienced with your snow storm and the counties inability to deal with it, you sound like a virgin sex education professor trying to explain an orgasm...
In other words, you don't know what the hell you're talking about......LOL!
Build induction coils into the roadway to charge the vehicle while you drive.
Build blacktop better?
Sumptin like that.😏
You fixed it!!
