That’s exactly what I saw from the other side of the building.
A few got into the steps and waved flags. Cap police let them stay.
Capitol police tossed lots of flashbangs and teargas into the crowd. They had no gas masks and many cops gassed themselves.
We didn’t hear anything about any breach till we were near our cars.
Good memory! Yes, after the better part of nine years, I finally came to my senses.
And yes, sometimes life feels a bit like a dystopian science fiction novel these days.
