A Cook County judge and her 3-year-old son were carjacked at gunpoint late Thursday night in Humboldt Park.

Police said, around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, a 52-year-old woman was pulling into a garage of a home in the 1500 block of North Campbell Avenue, with her 3-year-old son in the back seat, when two men approached.

I’m afraid that I am just lacking an awful lot of sympathy when I hear about politicians and judges having to endure what the rest of us have had to deal with for a long time.

I am sure that after you got over the shock, that was a pleasant surprise. If you are the same age as your wife, you probably had to stop wrestling with then at an early age however.

I had a nephew whose wife had just found out she was pregnant. There were twins in the family so I asked if they were twins. There was terror in his eyes. LOL.
