Desperate hospitals battling to cover shifts just months after forcing hundreds of unvaccinated nurses out of work over mandates

New South Wales has invited fully vaccinated Covid-positive nurses to work in hospitals, but continues to ban Covid-negative unvaccinated staff.

The bizarre scenario that appears to defy logic has been caused by severe staff shortages.

Not only has New South Wales sacked (or forced the resignation) of unvaccinated staff after a mandatory vaccination health directive was issued, thousands of fully vaccinated staff are now in isolation due to Covid infections.

Recalling Covid-positive nurses to work remains a breach of the New South Wales state health protocols. Desperate hospitals have allegedly made the request via private memos and it is not a part of any official directive. Unsurprisingly, other staff members inside the hospital system are not happy about being forced to work alongside infected colleagues.

While the New South Wales government did relax health regulations to allow healthcare workers who were close contacts to return to work, it did not go so far as to invite active cases into hospitals. The exemption released by Health Minister Brad Hazzard on New Year’s Eve was meant to apply only in ‘exceptional circumstances’ to avoid disruption in key areas.

Absolutely and it was increased and compounded the minute they segregated us by saying the vaccinated didn’t need to wear masks giving them the sense that they were blameless and the ability to walk around spreading it freely

Absolutely bizarre, yet when the newsliars wonder why so many people who received the initial shots don’t want boosters, they ignore the fact that they were quickly saddled again with the same mask restrictions as free thinkers - and quickly caught COVID when they threw out the safety measures and pretended they were “vaccinated”.

I was ashamed when so many people took those first shots willingly (and pushed others to do the same); I’m glad to see so many of them now say they won’t get any “boosters”.

Hopefully more and more people say ‘NO!’ to boosters, but so many people I talk to, vaccinated but without a booster and symptomatic and Covid + (‘well it’s because I didn’t get my booster, but without vaccine I know I would be much worse’) AND even those WITH a booster but still sick and caught it, can’t wait to run and get the next one! 🤦‍♀️ It’s like there’s crack in it!

There is a massive campaign to suppress the truth about the damages the shots may cause, but word is getting out - and the remaining “hesitant” are the ones seeking it out. A friend got the J&J(?) shot right before it was “paused”; she was scared sh!tless and has never received a booster (and has no plan on doing so; that was a long time ago).

👍 I could be up shit’s creek if Disney adopts the new definition of vaccinated to include GD boosters. Against my wishes husband got JJ- he’s worked there 20 years. We are too young to retire and old enough to be discriminated against for employment because of our age (plus my ability to be hired decreased because I am NOT vaccinated). I told him I will physically restrain him from getting a booster. Enough! Hopefully we don’t end up living in SUV eating cat food
