If someone has been a politician for over 10 years they should be disqualified from all offices.

I would say for 10 (or 12 - two Senate terms) contiguous years then yes. Only allowed back into ‘politics’ after some time back home in private industry. (Nonprofits, political PR groups at home or the Beltway don’t count !)
