Make them remove anything and everything that is manufactured using EF (Evil Fossil) products or byproducts and see what’s left.

A two-megawatt windmill is made up of 260 tons of steel that required 300 tons of iron ore and 170 tons of coking coal, all mined, transported and produced by hydrocarbons. A windmill could spin until it falls apart and never generate as much energy as was invested in building it.
Don’t know how true it is or what the math is. Of course, one website said this is demonstrably false. IDK.
I’m sure there are some on FR that will scream from every rooftop it is BS. While others will say it’s spot on. All depends on perspective and what folks want to believe.
Either way, buying an EV and using a coal fired or natural gas power plant to charge that EV, seems a bit hypocritical and aloof. That’s just me.
