What he means is that an anti-globalist government in the USA might inspire a similar movement to succeed in Canada and he’ll be out of a job. And all his globalist buddies will be in the same boat.
The “terrible storm” coming from the south would be a good thing from my point of view. But if it comes to partition, keep in mind, there are parts of Canada that would probably prefer to go with the red states than stay in Canada as it is absorbed into the orbit of the blue-state residue.
