What u.s should do is say, Ukraine, learn to get along with Russia because you can’t move. The U.S and NATO is not responsible for Ukraine. If Ukraine wants to keep Russia on its toes by threatening to join NATO every other weekend then deal with the consequences. You need to learn how to co exist with your neoghboring countries. Same goes for Russia but they aren’t the ones asking for military aid.

Ukraine could look at another country that borders Russia for advice.
Perhaps Finland’s politicians, businesses, and government could chime in. Its not like Finland hasn’t ever fought a war with Russia, before.
They also aren’t align with NATO which bothers some people.
Question: Have we ever had a war that wasn’t started under a Democrats regime??
