Watch some of the body cam videos that were used in the prosecutions against the people who took part in the riot. There was video after video. There was lots of violence. Quit trying to tell me something that is not true.
Where you and I probably agree on is that these people who took part in the riot were not going to be able to stop the voting and over throw the government.

You are absolutely right that there were violent people in the Capitol that day. One of them killed Ashley Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, unarmed, unthreatening.
Yes. And a lot of police officers were seriously hurt and unfortunately some have taken their lives afterwards. A lot of people gor physically and emotionally hurt and for no good reason.

Search for “Jan. 6 capitol damage”, look at the “images”, and see for yourself just how little damage was done to the capitol.
Then search for “Reichstag fire” and look at those images. That’s real damage.
And remember the guy who was convicted of “trespassing while carrying an American Flag” was sentenced to 41 months in prison!
And nobody still cares!!!
