The ‘rule of law’ means we’re all equal before the law - the symbol of justice in our country is a blindfolded women holding a scale.
‘Rule of law’ does NOT mean citizens must follow the law - If that was the case then North Korea would have ‘the rule of law’ as would every other totalitarian hellhole in the world. Breaking the law in commie hellholes can bring death sentences for small infractions if you’re on the wrong side of the power party.
