5G uses the same frequencies as a wide range of other stuff already in existence, so I highly doubt that's the case. Just a few off the top of my head I remember from the long list I posted a while ago:

Weather Radar
ATC Radar
some police speed radars
some current cell frequencies
Marine Radars
Microwaves (yes, the ones in your kitchen)
Red light camera sensors
