He presided over Congress and Congress certified the results. He couldn't just reject results on his own, and he certainly couldn't do that after the stuff at the capitol had started.

Ask yourself seriously what Pence could have realistically done to change the election results on January 6th. Then ask what Trump could have done before, during, and after the election to change things -- things that he didn't do. Blaming everything on Pence was a low point for Trump.

I voted for Trump and I'd do so again, but I understood after this Pence thing why a lot of people didn't, wouldn't, and won't vote for him.

A possibility for the purpose of taking votes from Pres Trump. However, those voters would not be voting for Trump anyway. Pence was tried and found wanting. Probably a good person but not capable of dealing with the world wide forces who are in the process of trying to destroy this Republic. He would just give the No Trumpers of the Rep party a platform to spew their hatred of Donald Trump. They would rather cede this free Republic to the communists and their affiliates than have a no holds barred MAGA leader, Donald J. Trump, in the Presidency of the USA.
