“No, I’m a conservative and do not look to Government to solve my problems as a general rule”

I bet you love your SS and medicare and police force. The FDA keeping out rotten or contaminated foods out of the country and keeping out fake medicines from India and China.

The USDA keeping out contaminated meat and fish and making sure mad cow does not wipe out our cows here in the US and the virus going through china right now that has wiped out their poultry and pig farms.

You hate the gov’t until it saves your ass or gives you bennies..

Are you reading from a script FRiend? This is a conservative forum. But I understand why you would enjoy being here. Much more rational, coherent discourse.

I would love to be able to opt out of SS and Medicare entirely. It’s bad news. Which is precisely why it is mandatory.

mandatory = bad
not mandatory = good

401k - not mandatory
SS - mandatory

Why do liberals always want to protect me from something? Why don’t they just leave me alone?

Answer: they are parasites. (I’ll give you the benefit of doubt here)

This is why they are on conservative websites, they are drawing more than they contribute.

This is why they like SS and medicare, they draw more than they contribute.

This is why they like socialism and communism.

It really disgusts me.

As to the other things you brought up, you’re of course and probably intentionally conflating things. Contributing to a security fund (police, fire) is in no way the same as writing Billy Bob a check every month. But you know this.

I guess you guys keep us on our toes though.
