While not professing clairvoyance (not with specificity anyway), I predict it will be a fascinating year for anyone who has a daily relationship with God. For most others it will be a frightening year.
At a very minimum I predict at least one SNAFU per week. And I know exactly what that acronym means. :)
We needed Michael but got Fredo. Weakness on the world stage always leads to war.
It’s hard to remember clearly bad times, say late 70s under Carter, or George Jr. I can remember Obama better.
Yet I don’t think it’s ever been this bad in my life. What startles me is he is only 1 year in.
The really amazing part is he had everything sufficiently screwed up his first several months in office.
Yeah, I stopped thinking positive with willful ignorance the moment he was declared dictator. Been in “Prepare for and expect the worst” since. Just never been very good at trying to fool myself with illogical unrealistic optimism and denial.

I agree, I sense this will be tumultuous year on the world stage as the nations’ leaders foolishly make their move with debased minds.

I just read and meditated on that passage as part of my daily reading a mere 3 days ago. Confirmation. I like the KJV, too. 2 Cor 4 & 5 contain some of the most potent passages the Lord has given us!
My sense is that the totalitarian left did not expend this much capital, energy and time only to lose its newfound power in the mid-terms.
I don’t think they are done with us, so to speak. Nothing is off the table. I expect them to institute Canadian/ Australian levels of control over us ‘ideologically-impure’ conservatives.
