They tried to make one with an all homosexual male cast and then stopped after people complaining. Then they did one with an all black and I think it lasted a day. People don’t want their old, favorite shows rebooted.

The Black version was supposed to end after one day. From what I see, it was a one-day table read of an old script, not an actual series reboot. What happened to the gay version is harder to say. It disappeared without any or very many people seeing it.

TV recycles old material all the time. Magnum, The FBI, Hawaii 5-0, McGyver, Dynasty, Gossip Girl, Walker, Charmed. I haven't seen any of the reboots, but somebody out there has to be watching them.
