Trump was on the right page when in 2016 he 'admired' Putin. But he seems to have flipped under pressure from the Dems, leaving only Putin.
Or maybe your delusions blinded you to the fact that Trump was the only President to actually tackle the big problems with Russia: (1) our nuclear imbalance, (2) shaping up NATO which was in such a decrepit state the Germans were attending NATO exercises with broomsticks, (3) pulling out of the INF due to constant Russian cheating, (4) modernizing and building the military, even calling for our nuclear weapons to be modernized and revamped, (5) building new defense pacts with the Poles, including sending more troops there, explicitly to "fight Russian aggression," (6) and fighting the European project to surrender Europe to Russia by permitting Russia's weaponized pipelines and energy policies.
You were one of those poor saps who actually believed Trump was in Russia's pocket, even while Russia was working with the Clinton Campaign to spread disinformation about Trump!

For one thing, Trump praises lots of people. He even praised Obama! It's just part of the way he does things. Art of the deal stuff. Truth is, despite all of Hillary and the Dems bogus "tough talk" on Putin and Russia, they have bent over backwards to appease him, on such critical things as Obama's promised and delivered "flexibility" on missile defense, the Russia-favoring, New Start nuke treaty, the Putin-loving Iran deal, Obama and Hillary's Uranium-One deal, where they allowed Russia to gain control of an estimated 20% of OUR uranium production!. And now the traitorous Nord Stream pipeline deal, in which Biden provided the Russians a means of further financing their evil, expansionist agenda.

The owner of Burisma was part of the regime that Putin installed in the Ukraine through a rigged election. An earlier pro-US opponent of that Russian puppet president was nearly killed in an attempted assassination by poisoning. His face was left badly pock-mocked and scarred for months afterwards.
