After almost 67 years here it doesn’t seem that unusual to me.
I can remember many other years like it.
Thanks for posting all the pics, caww. They gave me a better sense of what happened than the news channel videos did and much less time spent viewing them.
You’re good at finding pics for almost any news story I’ve noticed.
over 500 homes destroyed as of 2 hours ago
We just heard a report of ou er 600 homes a few minutes ago. Just got home from that area and the wind gusts overturned several 18 wheelers. One we saw was a Walmart 18 wheeler on C-470.
The black smoke was terrible.
Horrible! Hard to believe.
An old friend of mine lives in Louisville. Haven’t talked to him in years though.
My little mountain town was evacuated in Oct. ‘20 and that alone is tremendously stressful. Having nothing to come back to would be a nightmare. We came close to evacuating again this November.

This is so sad. We were just in Denver falling in love with it all. And we are from L.A. where our fire season just ended dramatically with tons and tons of pouring rain. Hard to believe we are safe when the Colorado residents are racing for their lives. Prayers up.

The only news we get is off the internet. We live in New Hampsire.
Called both sons yesterday...they are fine. Haven’t heard of any deaths yet. Our fingers are crossed.
Lots of property damage though.
